President of the PNG University of Technology's Students Representative Senate, Brent Karol says they’re prepared to work with students from other tertiary institutions around the country, to collectively voice their concerns about the recent Government decisions.

Karol said Unitech SRS is in process of gathering shared views from all students after hosting a forum yesterday, with an action plan currently being drafted.

The SRS President is pushing for a more vocal voice capturing opinions of all students in other Universities, in a bid to strengthen their move.

Karol is calling on all registered students mainly of tertiary schools nationwide, to participate in this process, claiming that their inputs will be crucial in shaping the direction of their advocacy.

He said the engagement of every student in this process is crucial in upholding the principles of students’ representation in the democratic society.

Meantime, the school's Registrar, Veronica Thomas told NBC News that the management will be following the students move, to ensure that they are practicing their rights within the PNG Constitution guidelines.
