Opposition MPs meeting with the Speaker of Parliament Job Pomat (Bryan Kramer)

Members of the Opposition have filed the notice of the Vote of No Confidence against Prime Minister James Marape earlier today at the Office of the Speaker of Parliament Job Pomat.

The notice is supported and signed by 12 members of the Opposition.

Opposition leader Douglas Tomuriesa presented the motion before parliament resumed today.

The notice has a Prime Minister nominee, a mover and second mover including their signatures.

Speaker of Parliament Job Pomat is expected to announce the Prime Minister nominee on the floor of Parliament today.
