Opposion confident to change the government

The Opposition is confident of changing the Marape-Rosso led Government come the September parliament session.
In a press conference this afternoon where 22 MPs from the total 35 attended, Opposition leader Douglas Tomuriesa said the Opposition has a 14-point policy document as the way forward to address pressing issues.
The Opposition policy document prioritizes fiscal policy discipline and a better money plan for Papua New Guinea.
"We are confident to change this current government and the Policy document we put together is a work in progress and we believe is a way foward for this country,"Douglas Toumeriesa said.
Senior politician and Chairman of the Strategic Action Plan Sir Puka Temu outlined the plan.
The plans outlined in the document include Restoration of Fiscal Policy, Reduction of Public Debt, Foreign Currency Shortage, Cost of living isues, Economic Growth, Income adn Job creation, Revitalize Agricultural sector, Enhance Healthcare Sector, Law and Order issues, and others.
"The plan we launch today is the result of this exhaustive review. It outlines what our Alternate Government will implement as an effective government.
"This is not a mere declaration, but a solemn commitment and we are fully prepared to see it through, "Sir Puka said.
