O’Neill clarifies on opposition camping

In an exclusive interview, the former Prime Minister, Peter O’Neill said the Opposition are not yet camping.
He told the NBC National News that they are having discussions in some of the Hotels mentioned and working on programs if they change the government.
The Parliament will resume on September 3, with the proposed Motion on the Vote of No Confidence in the Prime Minister as a top agenda.
"This will require the process of resubmitting the motion to the Parliament Private Business Committee to screen before it is tabled on the floor of Parliament," O'Neill said.
Mr. O’Neill told NBC National News that, the MPs are not necessarily camping at this time but are moving around.
When asked how confident, they are in changing the government, this is what the former Prime Minister said he is confident.
"We'll see when September 3 comes," O'Neill added.
Meantime, Prime Minister James Marape in a statement on Wednesday said if the majority of MPs feel that his leadership is not worthy, they can make the call, adding that it was nothing personal but part of the country's democratic process.
According to Mr. O'Neill, the opposition are confident in this process.
