Deputy Prime Minister John Rosso has brushed aside rumors of a split in the ruling Pangu Party.

He was responding to social media claims that he and fellow members from the Momase region have moved out from the Pangu caucus, this morning.

With Parliament expected to sit next week and a Vote of No Confidence looming, rumors of MPs jumping ship continues.

Minister Rosso said there is expected movements from members on both sides of the House, leading up to 3rd September.

However, he said there is no split in the ruling PANGU Pati.

"Pangu Party still remains intact. There is no split as claimed in the social media,"Rosso said.

He's labelled this as rumours.

Minister Rosso is expected to receive the Prime Minister and Pangu leader James Marape at the airport this afternoon, after attending the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum in Tonga.
