Sir Julius celebrates 85th birthday with his younger brother Michael, turned 77

New Ireland Provincial Member Sir Julius Chan has celebrated his 85th birthday four days prior to his actual birthday.
Governor Sir Julius Chan’s 85th birthday celebrations were held along with his brother Michael Chan's 77th birthday celebrations yesterday (Sunday 25th August), witnessed by family and friends in Brisbane, Australia.
The New Irelands Provincial Government media said his family and friends celebrated his milestone birthday-fifteen years short of one hundred.
The oldest national PNG politician who served since the provincial assembly days and dubbed the last man standing said the celebration was like a dream for him rising from the grave.
The last man standing made this comment after numerous occasions on social media individuals spread false information that Sir Julius has passed on.
"Just like a dream of me rising from the grave, it must be very disheartening for those who wish me dead," Sir Julias said.
The veteran politician in his enthusing words to his younger brother Michael for his success in proficiency running the modernized coastal shipping services with 11 ships throughout the New Guinea Islands.
In the birthday ceremony Sir J and Michael's elder sister Louisa Schnaubelt also joined the family celebrations.
The event was well attended by family and friends, who condemn the overnight doomsayers and wish Governor Sir J good health and happiness.
