PNG Investment Conference set to start on Monday

Preparations are well underway for the two days Business Advantage Papua New Guinea Investment Conference, which starts tomorrow in Brisbane, Australia.

Being the country's premier investment program, it is expected to build on the successes of the 2023 conference held at the same venue.

Key topics like the update on the progress of the 1.5 billion dollars or over 3.5 billion Kina Pasca A project, Paga hill project and views on investing in PNG and update on major and upcoming resource projects like Special Economic Zones and the investment opportunities locally among others are expected to be featured in the next two days.

Publishing Director of Business Advantage International Andrew Wilkins told NBC News, the Minister for International Trade and Investment Richard Maru will be represting Prime minister James Marape at this two days conference.

He added that this years conference has attracted over 400 participants, including some of the most dynamic investors in the Asia-Pacific region as well as government and global institution investors.
