New ATMs installed at Popondetta bank branch

The Popondetta branch of the National Banking Corporation [NBC] has successfully installed two new automated teller machines [ATMs] at its main facility.

NBC Popondetta branch manager Wanpis Kelepo said this marks the first time the branch has operated two ATMs, a move aimed at easing customer queuing and improving withdrawal services across Oro Province.

Kelepo confirmed that the new ATMs are compatible with multi-bank cards, accepting BSP, Westpac, TISA and Kina Bank cards, as well as NBC Visa cards.

He said withdrawal amounts at the new machines are structured between K10 and K100 per transaction.

Currently, the ATM services will operate on weekdays only. Kelepo said weekend operations remain suspended pending formal approval to extend service hours.

He also appealed to the surrounding community and bank clients to take ownership of the new machines and safeguard the local banking infrastructure.
