Milne Bay islanders resilient

For the communities of Yanaba, Egom, and Alcester Islands, all off Woodlark Island, reports have emerged that they have all gone on mitigation mode through this severe category 3 Tropical Cyclone Maila.

They've concerns about remote Budibudi Island and Rossel too, the most far flung atolls and were likely the first to have suffered cyclone effects when Maila entered PNG waters.

Both islands have no communication and there's been no updates out of them as yet.
