Milne Bay assitant returning officers dispersed

Milne Bay's Assistant Returning Officers, stranded in Alotau when Writs were issued yesterday havebs today, all been dispersed to their LLG locations.

An update from the local Electoral Office in Alotau today reveal except for for one, all others had begun making they way to their respective election sites beginning early this morning.

While they are using today to travel, under the discretion of Returning Officer Dadu Daga, he is accepting general nominations especially for island electorates today and was the order of business.

Only ARO for Daga LLG, Fredrick Dorigo remains, he will hitch a ride with a coffee charter bound for Milne Bay's hinterland areas on Saturday morning.

There have been no other incidents so far this first day of nominations.
