ABG presents its position paper

The Autonomous Bougainville Government presented its position paper to moderator Sir Jerry Mateparae yesterday.

ABG President Ishmael Toroama, Vice President Patrick Nisira and other senior ABG officials were also present.

Former President Dr John Momis graced the officials to witness the presentation of Bougainville's case.

President Toroama says relevant consultation has progressed and the position paper represent the voice of his people.

Two days earlier, the ABG President highlighted the progress made in accordance with the Bougainville Peace Agreement.

He urged the national government to present the Referendum result to Parliament for consideration and endorsement.
