The National Capital District Commission [NCDC] continues to pledge its support towards NCD Provincial Health Authority with K800,000.

NCD Governor Powes Parkop said this funding is specifically for the operation of the health authority to ensure there is smooth and efficient delivery of essential health services across the city.

Acting Chief Executive Officer of NCDPHA, Dr. Robin Oge, Acting CEO of NCD PHA, said the support is timely.

“Under Governor Powes Parkop’s stewardship, we will see the development of the new Level 5 District Hospital, which marks a major milestone for healthcare in the region.

“We are excited about continuing our close collaboration with NCDC to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare services to the people of Port Moresby and the broader NCD and Motu-Koitabu area," Dr Oge said.

Meanwhile, with the ongoing support of the National Government, the National Department of Health, Governor Parkop, and the three district MPs, NCDPHA is poised to continue its growth and strengthen its position as a leader in health service delivery in the National Capital District.
