Oge remains acting CEO NCD PHA

The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority acting Chief Executive Dr. Robin Oge, remains in this capacity.
This after a post went viral alleging that suspended CEO, Dr. Steven Yennie resumed office following directions by recently appointed Health Minister Elias Kapavore.
However, a letter by Minister Elias Kapavore to the NCDPHA board on 1st October for the reinstatement of suspended CEO Dr. Steven Yennie, has been withdrawn.
Kapavore told NBC News, his letter to the NCD PHA Board was to advise them that there was an abuse of process.
"They are supposed to give him the charges so that he can be given the opportunity to respond in seven days. After responding, then a disciplinary committee sits down to assess or vet his response. Then they advise whether the charges are upheld or not"
However, his letter and direction were withdrawn after finding out Yennie had taken the matter to court regarding the suspension.
Dr. Yennie's suspension was announced by the PHA board through a statement on 2nd September citing allegations of “a series of financial mismanagement and gross abuse of office relating to official corruption.”
Dr. Oge told NBC News this week, the matter is before the courts and must not be discussed.
He maintains he remains acting CEO and that all health services across the city continue as normal.
NCD health continue normal operations
In the nation's capital health services continue as normal.
Dr Oge says this despite the issue regarding the CEO post.
He told NBC News, the Gerehu General Hospital has resumed normal operations.
He clarified the only scale down was for the emergency department after the attack on the doctor early last month, but that's been rectified and they've resumed normal services.
"Gerehu is fully operational. All our other 12 major clinics are fully operational as well, including Tokarara and Lawes Road and all these other clinics. And all our minor clinics, such as Vabukori and Pari, and all those clinics are also fully operational.
"So work is as usual", Dr Oge said.
Health Minister Kapavore has also appealed to the NCD PHA staff to continue working as normal in serving the people.
