Dr Daoni joins New Ireland PHA Board

The New Ireland Provincial Health Authority [NIPHA] board has officially welcomed Dr Daoni Esorom as its newest member following a swearing-in ceremony in Kavieng, New Ireland.

Dr Daoni, who serves as the Deputy Secretary for National Health Policy and Corporate Services at the National Department of Health [NDoH], was officially sworn in at 3pm yesterday by Senior Magistrate Margaret Kivu at the Jotee and Daughters Conference Room.

He joins the board as the official representative for the NDoH, bringing strategic technical oversight to strengthen governance and leadership for the provincial health authority.

NIPHA board chairlady Dame Maria Kopkop welcomed Dr Daoni’s appointment, stating that his addition to the board is highly recognized and that members look forward to his contributions, experience, and partnership to drive the PHA forward.

Members of the Senior Executive Management team who were present to witness the occasion also expressed confidence that Dr Daoni’s inclusion will add significant value in guiding and directing the PHA.

Dr Daoni was accompanied by an NDoH delegation and will conduct a one-day board induction program today in Kavieng.
