The National Broadcasting Corporation of Papua New Guinea [NBC PNG] today announced that it has secured the exclusive broadcast rights for all remaining London Broncos home matches for the 2026 season.

PNG NBC will broadcast these home games across PNG and selected Pacific Island markets. In Papua New Guinea, NBC will feature all the matches LIVE on NBC Channel 1 for free along with a simulcast on NBC Radio.

The agreement strengthens NBC’s commitment to deliver premium rugby league content to audiences across the region. Fans will now watch every London Broncos home fixture live through NBC’s television, radio and digital platforms.

It also means that millions of people across PNG and the Pacific will be able to watch London Broncos star players including Morea Morea, Gairo Voro, Finley Glare, Epel Kapinias, Robert Mathias, and Jeremiah Simbiken.

NBC Managing Director Kora Nou said the partnership is expanding NBC’s rugby league coverage and connects Pacific audiences with one of the sport’s historic clubs.

“Rugby league holds a special place in the hearts of people across PNG and the Pacific," Nou said. “This agreement gives our viewers direct access to London Broncos home matches and strengthens NBC’s role as the home of rugby league in the region.

“The London Broncos represent one of the most recognised rugby league clubs in the United Kingdom. This new partnership gives Pacific fans the opportunity to follow the team’s home campaign throughout the season."

London Broncos co-owner Grant Wechsel said the club is excited for this new partnership, which will see all remaining London Broncos home matches in the 2026 season broadcast across Papua New Guinea and selected Pacific Island markets.

“This is an exciting partnership for the London Broncos, and an important step in growing our international audience,” said London Broncos Co-Owner Grant Wechsel.

“Papua New Guinea and the Pacific have a deep passion for rugby league, and we are proud to strengthen our connection with fans in the region through this agreement with NBC PNG.”

NBC said the agreement forms part of NBC’s wider strategy to strengthen world-class sports partnerships and coverage.
