Puma reopens another fuel station in Madang town
Puma Energy has reopened another of its service stations in Madang Town, the Madang Auto Port retail site, re- emphasizing that customer service must be a priority in their everyday business conduct.
General Manager of Puma Energy PNG, Daniel Duffau, stressed this to Puma workers at the Madang Depot and pump attendants at the reopened service station.
"So it's important that you engage your customers in a friendly manner.
"Good morning sir, good morning, mam. Thank you for coming to Puma. Just that. You value your customers. It's the quality of service," he said.
The reopened service station will now be operated by Kungus Petroleum Limited.
Its reopening now brings to two the number of Puma service stations in Madang Town.
This particular service station was temporarily closed in 2024.
The reopening symbolises Puma Energy's unwavering commitment to energising communities in Madang and Papua New Guinea.
Its reopening will also enhance the supply of quality fuel to Madang Province.
Mr Duffau said, "Puma Energy offers quality fuel products. We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and services to our valued customers, and Madang Auto Port is testament of that commitment.
"Alongside delivering high-quality products and services, we are also dedicated to ensuring high- level safety at all our sites, for both our employees and customers who visit all our sites.
"This is an important factor to ensuring a high- level of service."
Puma's focus on discipline also speaks of its high level of service and professionalism in the fuel industry.
Further; Mr Duffau said Puma Energy is also proud to support local businesses in Madang Province and acknowledges the partnership it has forged with Kungus Petroleum, which is managed by Samuel Kenai.
Mr Duffau stated, "With his strong and disciplined business background, we are confident that Mr Kenai will manage this retail site with high- level professionalism."
He stressed Puma Energy PNG is not just a fuel provider but a partner in the progress of Madang Province and Papua New Guinea. It is committed to Energising communities in Papua New Guinea.
Sadly, all invited guests to the event, including the governor, the town mayor, and the chamber of commerce president, were not present despite being given advanced invitations.
