The annual General Manager's Roadshow for oil palm company Milne Bay Estates was on again this week, this time it was opened up to exhibitions and school participation.

Stakeholders flocked to the event this Tuesday.

The idea for transparency while rubbing shoulders with partners and government entities is the idea behind the annual event, this time though, exhibitions and school children participation was the order of the day.

John Komni- Senior Manager West Estates MBE

He says the exhibitions and involvement of schools were intentional, to give the public an eye into the different sections of the company that work together to deliver the oil for export.

Students involvement he agrees is for the future of the company, it could ignite passion for Agriculture, for science, or any profession from the exhibitions.

Meantime, Milne Bay Smallholder Growers Association also attended the Roadshow.

Willie Tatauro- Chairman MBSGA

The company is the biggest employer in Milne Bay boasting some 3000plus employees to oversee over 12,000 hactares of developed land.
