Third Airbus A220-300 arrives
The Air Niugini's third Airbus A220-300 (P2-PGC) has arrived in Port Moresby Apec terminal today at noon.
The aircraft has travelled a long delivery route to reach home.
P2-PGC departed from Mirabel in Canada on Monday, 15th, continued through Vancouver onward to Honolulu, transmitted Fiji and finally arrived here today.
The arrival of this third A220 follows the delivery of our second aircraft last Friday, 12th December, and the first A220 which arrived on September 15th, in time for PNG's 50th Independence Anniversary.
Minister for State Own Enterprise, William Duma thanked everyone who participated in making it possible for the 3rd A220 to land safetly.
"This is an attempt to build airline within airline and so each plane will be welcomed as the first one." Duma said.
