Polling for Usino-Bundi by-election set to begin tomorrow

Polling for the Usino-Bundi by-election is set to begin tomorrow, with polling teams for Bundi Local Level Government [LLG] and Usino LLG set to depart Walium Station by helicopter at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
The teams will be inserted into their respective polling locations by helicopter.
Returning Officer for the Usino-Bundi by-election, Terence Baiyo tells NBC News at Walium this afternoon they are expecting polling to be completed within seven days.
Prior to the sorting out of polling materials, the PNGEC team on the ground, including the election manager, Sponsa Navi, met with the candidates and briefed them on the logistical aspects that will enable the election to progress.

A total of 27 candidates are contesting this by-election, amongst them five former Members of Parliament, including two former Madang governors, Peter Yama and Jim Kas, Anton Yagama and Samson Kuli, who are both former members of this electorate and Thompson Haroqaweh, who was a former member for Goroka Open.
