CS Officer Womboni farewelled after 47years of service

Long serving Correctional Service Officer Senior Inspector Bani Womboni was farewelled in Alotau on Friday, after 47 years of service.
The soft-spoken 62year old from Western Province served his last six years in Alotau and will now return to Western Province to await his formal retirement.
CS Giligili Commanding Officer Chief Superintendent Ray Gideon described him as one of a few who were there at the beginning to establish the Department and have seen its evolution to date.
The Manager Administration will leave a huge gap for Giligili, but officers there are encouraged to learn from his legacy of being punctual, maintain peace and to always be dependable.
He has seven [7] children and is from the Tangngkin village in Western Province where he plans to retire to.
