MBP among 7 for the greenprenuers project

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), in partnership with the Climate Change and Development Authority [CCDA] and at least 7 provincial governments, was part of today's launch of the PNG Greenpreneurs Project [PGP].
Milne Bay was amongst them, and they took part in the launch in Port Moresby via MS Teams.
It was a virtual launch from the provinces; Milne Bay and its stakeholders were present to witness it too.
Lulu Osembo, GGGI's Provincial Project Associate Climate FIRST Project explained participants could be likely applicants or partners to spread the word.

The launch means an open call for applications over the next three weeks- PNG Greenpreneurs Project is a multi-year strategic initiative aimed at catalyzing the growth of climate-smart micro, small, and medium enterprises [MSMEs] in seven provinces which are Eastern Highlands, Enga, Manus, Milne Bay, Morobe, New Ireland and Simbu.
Implemented under the Climate Finance Initiative for Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainable Transition [Climate FIRST] Project, it seeks to unlock the potential of green entrepreneurship as a key driver of sustainable development, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth.
Milne Bay already has testimonies to tell, at least two pioneering SMEs that have benefited in an original rollout of the project and had this advice for all.
