Gala Day to support Rigo Schools Rugby League

Prior to kick starting its competition in May, the Rigo Schools Rugby League competition will need to raise funds to sustain its competition, thus, it will be hosting a Gala Day on the 29th of this month, April.

The gala day will include fun games for kids, rugby league skill sessions, entertainment, stalls for SMEs and corporate organizations.

A special highlight for the event will also feature sessions conducted by the PNGRFL Community Rugby League and the NRL PNG Team.

President of Rigo Schools Rugby League George Enane said," We they have been planning the Gala Day for some time now, and I am anticipating the event to be a success when its staged in Kwikila."

The Rigo Schools Rugby League is affiliated to PNGRFL through the Community Rugby League Department and the competition in May will involve schools in Rigo Central and Rigo Coast LLGs.
