The acting Chief Secretary, Ivan Pomaleu, has praised the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary [RPNGC] for joining a special team to audit the Connect PNG Infrastructure Program.

The RPNGC is the first agency to respond after Pomaleu called for help during the signing of agreements with international companies in February.

The audit is important to make sure public funds are used properly and transparently.

The RPNGC's role is to provide security during the audit to protect auditors, engineers, and officials, and prevent any tampering or interference.

Their presence will help ensure safety, fairness, and prevent corruption, making sure the infrastructure projects are properly managed.

This will help ensure good governance and accountability in the development of infrastructure in PNG.
