Labumiti village officially opened two new classrooms in Huon Gulf District of Morobe Province, which will benefit at least 150 students attending Labumiti elementary school.

"The classroom will cater for almost 150 students, who come from not only Labumiti but the nearby three villages also," Mr Mais said.
The Labumiti elementary school TIC revealed that there are some children with special needs, that would need a space of their own, and he would be seeking assistance to try to establish one more classroom for them.
"We do have some students with special needs who come to our school for registration, but due to a problem with the facility, we have that is not conducive for their learning," he said.
