BSP donates e-Library to Lae Adventist primary school

The Bank of South Pacific Lae Branch donated e-Library to Lae Adventist School at Tenth City in Lae Morobe Province today.

Lae top town branch manager, Bevillon Homuo, explained that this is part of their community service initiative to support the school, giving them proper learning materials.

E- library projects contain 8 new desk tops, learning software, and additional tasks that also facelift the library. It included a new landscape to the flowerbed and a signage.

Manager Homuo,in an interview, said that this is in the budget of K30,000.00

Homuo explained that they selected three projects, and the one that stood out was this school with a total population of over 1000, with a new library facility that's built last year.

She further explains that there is a board that does the selection while the branch only does scout.

Homuo said, "we will continue to support the community in the next project in the near future, whether it will be health, education "

" We have already done for 2022,2023 and this is the 2024 project, because we wanted the students to be the recipients so, here it."

Representing the school is senior teacher, Alnox Laena, who's grateful for BSP and said, "The senior primary students and teachers will now be able to have access to the new Encarta, and e-book library, where all pdf for SBC is uploaded to that software and other additional textbooks.

He further explained that there is a guide in place as well, so students and teachers will be monitored.
