Bugandi Secondary opens K2.2 million classroom

Bugandi Secondary School of Lae in the Morobe Province has officially opened a K2.2m classroom on Monday [yesterday].
The classroom [eight-in-one] will cater for 480 grade 11 student.
It was built in 4 months by the East Coast construction, funded by the Lae City Authority.
Bugandi Secondary School Principal, Dennis Mial when speaking at the occasion was grateful that the new infrastructure will give a complete facelift to the school.
"The school's physical appearance, unlike before, now looks lively, the sense of freedom in the atmosphere, you will feel, when you enter the school gate.
"The support from the Lae MP and LCA is a boost in moral for every one of us and it shows that our government cares for us," he said.
Lae MP John Rosso, before cutting the ribbon, challenged the students to be grateful and produce good results in their academy.
Mr. Rosso pointed out that development progress from old buildings built in the 80s is now replaced with infrastructure of these times and can last for a long time.
"With such building now erected, I expect students to perform well in their academy, and the school must produce better results, sending more students into higher tertiary institutions and if otherwise, be successful in any field of expertise," Rosso said.
The school's outlook has transformed since 2022, and more infrastructural development underway.
