The finals anticipation for Private Companies Netball Competition starts this weekend when the games resume following the festive season break.

After successfully completing the first phase of the competition, all teams would be poised for what’s ahead in round two with ultimate focus to secure a spot in finals.

PCNC president Julie Mai said steaks are high for hit 2 continuing this Sunday at the Rita Flynn outdoor courts.

“Heading into round 2, teams should now be fully aware of the games process and work according to the procedure and the rules and regulations of the comp,” Mai told NBC News

“It should be systematic now especially the established teams and the new ones board this season.

“I’m confident all teams are ready to complete this round and prepare for an exciting finals series.”

Mai said they expect the 6 games scheduled for round 2 to be completed by mid-February prior to the finals as teams’ battle for supremacy across all divisions including the electrifying men’s group.

The Vodafone-sponsored competition is set host its finals on Feb 16 where the top-4 teams contend for glory in the 2024-2025 PCNC season.

President Mai said finals format would accommodate the first and second placed sides competing for a spot in the big dance as the loser faces winner of the bottom 2 teams.

Meanwhile, Mai has warned teams fielding more dependent to strictly abide by the rules of the comp as failure would result in teams been deducted wining points.
