It's been 6 days since the tragic airplane crash with recovery efforts still ongoing for the four passengers yet to be retrieved from the site, at Sarawaget, Morobe province.
Families are anxiously awaiting recovery news of their loved ones’.
North Coast Aviation pilot late David Sandery was the only person recovered on Tuesday after the accident on Sunday.
Attempts to recover the remaining bodies of the other passengers have been delayed as authorities say weather and rugged terrains have made recovery efforts difficult.
Locals on the ground have confirmed that Police and Defence tactical response teams left for the crash site with the last helicopter leaving at around 6 o'clock this morning.
Morobe provincial disaster director Charlie Masange said a press conference will be hosted by provincial administrator Max Bruten to clarify misinformation circulated on social media in regards to the P2-Sam plane crash.
Due to the sensitivity of the current situation, Mr Bruten has been appointed by the provincial government members as the agreed spokesman to release information and make comments concerning details of the tragic plane crash.
