Sydney betelnut spittle anger floods social media

A short video of chewing of betel-nut, its red spittle and vulgar words from two-participants of the 2024 PNG Investment Week conference in Sydney, Australia as gone viral on social media.     

This short clip is most trending in the last 24 hours, flooding with condemnation from Papua New Guineans in the country. 

Police Minister Peter Tsiamalili Jr, who was one of the speakers at the conference said such outrageous action is unacceptable, adding no amount of justification will mend their actions.

Minister Tsiamalili told NBC Online, that the Sydney City Council have been made aware and appropriate action are in motion to address this unhygienic and unethical behaviour.

Defense Minister Dr. Billy Joseph also post on social “ashamed of the attitude of these two guys. We know who they are. They will be lucky if they ever set foot in Australia again; I know they won’t.”
