Port Moresby residents warned

City residents have been warned to refrain from burning stuff on the roads, including wrecked cars.

In National Capital District, there’s been an increase in burning of old car parts on the road as part of Christmas and New year celebrations.

NCD - Central Police Commander Benjamin Turi issued a very strong warning to those involved in such to refrain or be dealt with by police.

He’s also called for on youths specially to refrain from consuming homebrew during this festive season, announcing that police will be out in full force:

The NCD Central Police Commander is expected to hold a parade this Friday to announce Christmas/New Year operations for the capital city and Central Province.
