Rosso questions Morobe Land Board makeup

People who pass the fit and proper person’s test, will be allowed to sit on all the Provincial and District Land Boards in the country.

Deputy Prime Minister and Lands and Physical Planning Minister, John Rosso, said this when responding to a series of questions from Morobe Provincial MP, Luther Wenger in Parliament this afternoon. [Tuesday].

Mr. Wenge wanted to know why the Lands Department has not recognized the Morobe Lands and Physical Planning Board, and its decisions.

Minister Rosso said that as the Lands Minister, he did not want to recognize a board that has cronies and friends of Members of Parliament, who have questionable backgrounds.
