Paita leads 14 MP’s back to government

Fourteen members from the Opposition have returned to the government coalition ahead of the parliament session on November 26.

These members are from the newly endorsed ' Our Pati'.

Party Leader and Finschaffen MP, Rainbo Paita announced in Port Moresby, this afternoon.

He said the move follows consultation with leaders to set aside political differences and unite with the government for stability and restore investor confidence among others.

Member for Ialibu-Pangia Peter O'Neil said the Opposition will release a statement on this later today.

Prime Minister James Marape and Deputy PM John Rosso are aware but have made no comments.

Paita says Our Pati looks forward to working with the government in the years to come.
