Kingsley maintains title and Bulolo takes home seven awards

Kingsley Kingsley Hokins has done it again, three in a row champion in Rosso Mountain Bike champion.

The cyclist is from the Busu area, outside Lae, who is very grateful of his result and encouraged others saying," secret to success is, for riders to keep paddling with their best."

Hopkins,acknowledged the Lae City Authority [LCA] and the sponsors of the event.

He thanked MP Rosso to initiate such activities involving young people who have the same interest.

The event had five divisions, junior boys, junior girls [7-12], seniors, male and female, and the masters (for mens). Special event included, were for the People with special needs [PLWD].

The participants came as far as Bulolo, Huon Gulf and Nawaeb District and took part.

Bulolo had an outstanding performance, taking home 7 prizes.

The awards were presented in the top five ranking, in all divisons.

Local MP John Rosso, speaking at the event on Sunday, thanked all corporate companies partnering with LCA to make the event a success.

"I would like to thank support by the business houses in Lae, such as the Gold sponsor Coca Cola, platinum sponsor Goodman Fielders International, and all the others, thats not mention." Rosso said.

The race winners in both mans and womans hit, have all secrued a trip each, to Cairns, a special courtesy by Lae City Authority.
