NBC follows court’s directive

In compliance with a National Court order issued by Justice Derek Woods on the 13th of November 2025 in the case of Ok Tedi Mining Limited v Susan Joseph W.S No 23 of 2024 all stories relating to the allegations of sexual harassment by the defendant against OTML has been taken down by NBC on its online platforms.

The case was resolved out of court by both parties following a defamation case filed by OTML against Susan Joseph.

Another order was issued again on the 5th of March to enforce the initial order.

We hereby publish the agreed order 1 [b] as follows:

“The parties in W.S No 23 of 2024 – OTML v Susan Joseph confirm that the matter has been resolved by mutual agreement. Accordingly, all stories and publications relating to the allegations made against OTML as published by the NBC is removed.”
