Milne Bay PHA board to focus on gaps in health sector

The Provincial Health Authority [PHA] in Milne Bay has committed to supporting delivery of health services to the people of Milne Bay.

The board, the 5th one installed since PHA inception, will be led by Chairlady Gloria Warren, welcoming a new era.

Carrying on from where the outgoing health board has left off is the commitment by a new 10-member governing board of the Milne Bay Health Authority.

Warren, at their swearing in on Wednesday was equally confident to commit their support her wide array of members this time around.

Board members include her deputy and business rep Eric Mesak, Lady Katherine Lepani, and longtime Health Department Executive Elva Lionel, including Women's rep Olive Sakiasi and Churches rep Bishop Rolando Santos.

They've been encouraged to stay focused on the gaps in the health sector during these challenging times.
