Brisbane Broncos premiership heroes will bring their NRL and NRLW trophies to Papua New Guinea this weekend, giving local fans a rare chance to celebrate with some of the biggest names in rugby league.

The three-day trophy tour will see NRL stars Adam Reynolds, Ben Hunt, and Ezra Mam, along with NRLW counterparts Romy Teitzel, Jada Ferguson, and Shenae Ciesiolka, visit communities and meet fans before taking a lap of honour at Santos National Football Stadium.

The highlight of the visit will come during half-time of the PNG Kumuls vs Cook Islands Aitu Pacific Championships clash on Saturday, October 25, when the Broncos players parade the trophies before thousands of passionate supporters.

While final tour details are still being confirmed, senior NRL reporter Bradley Walter said the upcoming visit reflects the Broncos’ close ties with PNG, a nation where rugby league passion runs deep.

Meanwhile, skipper Reynolds and star five-eight Mam have shared on social media their tour in Port Moresby.
