Manolos Aviation delivers exam papers of 140 rural schools in Morobe

Manolos Aviation, with help from the Morobe Provincial Education Office, has delivered Grade 8 exam papers to all 140 rural schools in Morobe Province. The delivery was finished by 10 AM yesterday.
Manolos Aviation CEO, Captain Jurgen Ruh, told NBC News the late exam papers arrived last Thursday (October 16). Manolos received the first set late last Friday (October 17).
"Though the exam papers have arrived, it was the Morobe Provincial Education Office who stepped in and ensured, that we deliver all the exam papers to all 140 schools in this very short time. Their cooperation was vital in ensuring every Grade eight student received their papers on time,” he said.
Captain Ruh said the papers were packed into containers as soon as they arrived last Friday.

He said his team used two helicopters. The team included himself, another pilot, two assistant pilots, and two other staff. They started delivering early Saturday morning and finished at 10 AM yesterday.
He praised his team for succeeding despite the last-minute pressure. He asked the National Department of Education to plan better and deliver the exam papers on time in the future.
"Delivering to remote locations takes detailed preparations to plan routes and prepare aircrafts, while assessing the weather to avoid any risk. We need the exam papers at least two or three weeks in advance," he pleaded.
