Milne Bay moves to deliver exam papers before Monday

While Milne Bay's Grade 8 examination papers have arrived this Friday afternoon, the challenge to deliver them to schools remains a worry this weekend before exams get underway on Monday.
A total 5863 Grade 8 students will sit the exams next week for Milne Bay.
Provincial Education Advisor Roma Tuidam confirms the first lot of 12 cartons arrived on Wednesday, and the rest of 36 cartons late Friday afternoon.
His education team began the mammoth task of unpacking and repacking exam papers by school candidate numbers for district teams to pick up for dissemination, starting today. He is hopeful they will keep to the gazetted Monday Grade 8 examination start.
He added that most primary school board chairmen and teachers were in town on school business this week and were asked to remain to help with distribution.
At this stage, this largest maritime province with time against them, is hopeful distribution will go smoothly without a hitch and Grade 8 students in Milne Bay can sit the exams beginning Monday.
