A dominant first half showdown by Australian women's team stunned Papua New Guinea with a gritty 50-0 win in the Prime Minister's XIII fixture this afternoon.

The Australian PM's 13 side dominated all aspects of the game with a massive 44-0 lead at halftime.

PNG struggled to cope with the opponents pace, in front of home fans at the Santos National Football Stadium.

PNG gained slight momentum in defense and restricted Australia from adding points in the second stanza but found it hard to score a try.

Australia managed just one try towards the end of 3 quarter break.

The PNG national women's team remained scoreless despite numerous attempts as Australia PMs 13 overpowered them with a 50-0 victory.

Earlier in the morning, Australian school girls defeated Junior Orchids 14:4 whilst Kumuls Junior team and School boys from Australia drew 22-22.
