PNG Football Association President John Kapi Natto, General Secretary Gordon Manub and Executive Liason Manager Ahmjad Tekwie were at the airport to receive the coach, his wife and daughter.

The Spanish coach will help Kapuls in their OFC FIFA World Cup qualifier campaign in October and November.

Meanwhile, prior to his arrival, he had already been communicating with the Technical Department about his plans and he is very excited to get to work.

He will be working closely with Acting Technical Director Harrison Kamake and the National Team Management in preparation for the World Cup Qualifiers in November.

President Kapi Natto said, "Coach Felipe has been in close contact with the PNGFA Technical Department since his appointment."

Also, Coach Felipe is no stranger in working in the Pacific, he is the former national coach of the Solomon Islands senior men's football team, and he is looking forward to help the Kapuls improve.
