Digicel ExxonMobil Cup resumes

Papua New Guinea National Rugby League Competition [PNGNRLC] will continue with round 15 fixtures this weekend after the one week bye.
Matches will be played across six centres in Minj, Port Moresby, Wabag, Goroka and Rabaul, for the first time this year will stage it's home game in the refurbished Queen Elizabeth Park.
Tomorrow is expected to be a thrilling day full of rugby league action as Waghi Tumbe look to keep their season alive when they host Kimbe Cutters at John Amban Oval.
Rabaul Gurias have spent the third quarter of the 2024 Digicel ExxonMobil Cup season away from their turf and will make their long-awaited return when they face Lae Snax Tigers on home soil.
Both matches will concurrently be played at 2pm.
Port Moresby Vipers and Mendi Muruks will kick off the first game of Sunday's blockbuster scheduled for 1pm at the Santos National Football Stadium.
Heading up to Aipus Oval at 2pm, reigning premiers Enga Mioks will play host to Hela Wigmen in physical anticipation as both sides aim for positive outcome.
Last year's runner's up in Goroka Lahanis are running against time to enter top six and will be in full force to meet the form slumped Gulf Isou outfit at the National Sports Institute.
The Isou's have been on the spotlight, receiving critics for their ill-defined form this year in a winless campaign.
To end the excitement of the round, the final match of the weekend will be staged at NFS between the competition leaders Mt Hagen Eagles and the rising Central Dabaris franchise.
Eagles are enjoying the service of head coach Francis Ray, who has turned the tide for the Western Highlands club this season from wooden spooners in 2023 to premiership contenders.
Dabaris on the other end have held on to the no.6 spot and a win on Sunday will boost their finals quest.
Digicel ExxonMobil Cup is expected to enter finals in September.
